Some communities of bats prefer to live segregated by sex. If this is true for the bats in your area we recommend this house for the females and babies and either a 1 or 2 chamber bat house for the males. This size of bat house is perfect for a nursery house which is inhabited by the female bats and their pups.

We paint the inside of the bat house and stain the outside. The exterior color is dependent on the average July temperature for your neighborhood. Instructions for painting and maintenance are included with each house.
